On October 4th, 2024, from 12:00 to 13:00 CEST, eNeuron will host a webinar showcasing advanced tools for optimizing energy hub operations. This session will highlight significant advancements in managing and enhancing local energy systems.

Speakers from ENEA and SINTEF will present insights into these innovative technologies, making this event a must-attend for researchers, energy consultants, and industry professionals eager to stay at the cutting edge of energy systems.

On July 8th, 2024, ENEIDA showcased its dispatcher web app for micro-energy hub interfaces to a technical audience and project partners.

The event highlighted eNeuron’s toolbox designed for managing local energy communities and provided an opportunity for collaborative input.

Participants offered feedback on the app’s technical features, which will be used to improve and finalize the product for a better user experience.

The second eNeuron infopack is now available, showcasing 12 use cases developed using the IEC 62559-2 methodology. This infopack illustrates how the project leverages advanced software, hardware, and a cloud-based platform to dynamically balance supply and demand across multiple energy carriers.

Each use case is detailed with its characteristics and objectives, highlighting the mapping of regulatory and technical bottlenecks within local energy communities.

The goal is to create business models that deliver customer value and meet higher-level targets for sustainable energy systems.

Since its launch in November 2020, eNeuron has been part of BRIDGE, a European Commission initiative linking 105 projects in smart energy systems.

The 2024 BRIDGE Brochure highlights various projects, including eNeuron, showcasing their innovations and outcomes in smart grids, energy storage, islands, and digitization.

On July 16th and 17th, the consortium gathered in Lisbon (Portugal) to discuss project activities. The meeting allowed partners to exchange ideas and share updates.

They also observed the latest activities and achievements of the Portuguese pilot site at the Lisbon Naval Base.

These two-day meetings strengthened the partners' commitment to taking the final steps necessary to optimize the design and operation of integrated local energy communities.
